About

A draw for the night you cannot pick.

RFG is a free browser tool. It is not a review magazine, a streaming app, or a copy of IMDb.

You set the kind of title (film or TV show), up to two genres, a minimum IMDb score, a year range, and the country where you actually watch. Draw returns a small set of matches, with a plot, a poster, a trailer when one is known, and the services currently offering it in that country.

The point is the decision, not another endless grid. If you have already seen something, sign in and tick Watched. Later draws skip it. Saved titles can sit in Films, Shows, or a list you name yourself.

What RFG does not do

It does not host video. Watch links leave this site and open the store or app that JustWatch reports for your country. A row that says Netflix in the UK can be absent, or different, in another country, and offers expire. Scores and plots come from Cinemeta’s catalog data, which itself tracks public sources. They can be missing, rounded, or out of date. Treat a 7.4 as a clue, not a verdict.

Who runs it

RFG is an independent site at rfilmgen.com. There is no newsroom and no paid placement from a streaming service. If ads appear, they are Google AdSense, labelled as ads, and they do not change which titles the draw returns.

Accounts are optional. You can draw, search, and open trailers without one. An account only exists so Saved, lists, and Watched can follow you to another browser.
